Can I exercise my options before expiration?

An application for early exercise can be made in the Position Details of the app at any time prior to the options expiration date.

An application for early exercise can be canceled at any time prior to the market close. We will process your early exercise request after the market close unless a cancellation notice is received prior to the market close. If your account does not have sufficient buying power or an adequate corresponding equity position, we may be forced to reject your request. There is a $6.99 fee for processing early exercise requests. It typically takes 1-2 business days to process an early exercise.
